Public Transport 

Natural Mystic Sanctuary is accessed by crossing through a shallow river and going up a rough stone road to the top of the hill. It is a lovely walk up through the tea plantations and takes about 15 mins to walk up. Most people can walk up with their bags however the road is not suitable for suitcases/trolleys. With advance notice we can help to bring your luggage up or arrange to bring people up. Please let us know when booking if you need help. Please try to arrive during daylight (before 6:00 p.m.) as it is easier to find us before dark. .  

Take a bus to Deniyaya, go off at the station “Club laga Eka” from where a Tuktuk (500 Rupees) will bring you to the drop off point by the bridge on Batandura road. Please let us know your arrival time once you’re on the bus, so we can send the Tuktuk on time to pick you up at the bus stop. Otherwise go further until Deniyaya Bus Station and take a Tuktuk from there (1000 Rupees).

Follow Batandura Road, keeping to the left where the road splits, for 1.7km where you will see a bridge ahead and the river with a small hut next to it. This is where you cross the river and walk up.
