Natural Mystic Sanctuary is accessed by crossing through a shallow river and going up a rough stone road 500m to the reception. It is a lovely walk up through the tea plantations and takes about 10 mins to walk up. Only 4x4 vehicles and motorbikes can come up the road. Most people can walk up with their bags, if you are coming on a tour with a driver for a short stay then you can prepare a day pack to bring and leave your main luggage with your driver. The road is not suitable for suitcases/trolleys. With advance notice we can help to bring your luggage up or arrange to bring people up. Please let us know when booking if you need help. Please try to arrive during daylight (before 6:00 p.m.) as it is easier to find us before dark.

Directions
From the A17 main road, Take Batandura Road which is 2 km South of Deniyaya town.
The turning looks like this:
Follow Batandura Road, keeping to the left where the road splits, for 1.7km where you will see a bridge ahead and the river with a small hut next to it.
This is where you park on-road vehicles and cross the river to walk up.
